LAYERED<p>This was a fast one. Last night I designed a small 2 layer <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/GPIO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GPIO</span></a> stacking header board for the <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/RaspberryPi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RaspberryPi</span></a> that will be used in my <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/NeXTcube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NeXTcube</span></a> mini to provide a power and activity LED. It's in production at <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/JLCPCB" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JLCPCB</span></a> already.</p><p><a href="https://chaos.social/tags/DIY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DIY</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/PCBDesign" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PCBDesign</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/RetroComputer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RetroComputer</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/VintageComputer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VintageComputer</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Miniatures" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Miniatures</span></a></p>
LAYERED<p>So, something to ponder. 😃<br>Which plugs and sockets would you use if you wanted to route 6 pins from the <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/GPIO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GPIO</span></a> port of a <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/RaspberryPi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RaspberryPi</span></a>, which is located in a housing, to another housing? Off the top of my head, I can only think of a 6-pin DIN plug/socket.</p><p>Are there any others?</p><p><a href="https://chaos.social/tags/DIY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DIY</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Electronic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Electronic</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Electronics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Electronics</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/MakersHour" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MakersHour</span></a></p>

James Akers<p>I was applying for a lil Art show that goes in conjunction with a Texas glass conference I am presenting at later this year when I realized that I dont actually have any edited photos of the Big Cobalt Sunset Eclipse Sphere I made last year. </p><p>A few minutes in GIMP fixed that. Here are two that make it look a little rounder than it really is.</p><p>Doubtful that they will have the shipping budget... but also doubtful that they will be able to find something quite like it. Who knows, a Fort Worth business might really like it?
