fak<p>Excellent, that's all of the <a href="https://toot.community/tags/BostonMarathon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BostonMarathon</span></a> participants that I was tracking either finished or accounted for (some nasty stomach bug took out one friend, alas). Special well done to Laura Caster who just missed the cut-off last year (though was initially told she was going to be within it, and ended up in hospital pushing to make it). She was instrumental in moving the cut-off to a fixed local time, so people know. And now she's a six-star finisher. Home with 19 minutes to spare.</p>

The Americans suck at this. The BBC coverage of London is so much better. Too many VTs in the early stages, but at least they split screen and show a ticker. Still have to go to those ad-breaks during the racing too.</p>
