Like the "To use the compiled binaries, you must own the game." here: <a href="https://github.com/electronicarts/CnC_Red_Alert/tree/main?tab=readme-ov-file#compiling-win32-only" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/electronicarts/CnC_</span><span class="invisible">Red_Alert/tree/main?tab=readme-ov-file#compiling-win32-only</span></a><br>Or the extra clauses in the LICENSE.md. Both might be <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/GPL" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GPL</span></a> incompatible? Also for both this C&C release and <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/OpenRA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenRA</span></a> assets are not freely licensed.<br>In contrast, for <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Warzone2100" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Warzone2100</span></a>, <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/0ad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>0ad</span></a> and <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/7kaa" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>7kaa</span></a> are fully freely licensed. So I can directly install them on Debian.</p>
