@baldur I agree but can't help feeling a bit annoyed (for work). Readers might easily leave a research paper or monograph unopened for a week. It seems a shame to clear things b/c an arbitrary timer went off. This makes it harder to argue they don't need to download a PDF for everything they come across. Some form of opt-in by users would be nice.
