@bremner A score or so rapid-fire URL requests will do it and the block should persist for a few days.
HN URLs follow the form of https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=\<INTEGER\>
, where the integer value is sequentially assigned. You may start from 0 or 1 at your preference.
Alternatively, of course, you can block the hostname and/or IP at your own adblocker or firewall should temptation prove irresistible.
