now rocks a fully modular #emacs config with some nice additions, like controling #spotify from Emacs (with smudge) and some UI tweaks as well as better #rofi, #mako, #alacritty and #waybar and more love to light themes as well as #everforest maybe this makes some #rde users curious :)

Switched to sway, love it! Easy to transition from i3 and super simple to configure. Now i have everything set up just how i like it. Dotfiles on my github.
That was fun and satisfying BSD Sunday.
I fixed a Lenovo T520 and setup #GhostBSD for a friend, so he can start right out of the Box ...and of course get's the BSD Virus §8-)
Everything works nicely like it should. Sound had to be configured, because the volume was too silent.

So, mixer pcm=1.0 did the trick on my side too.
Besides that, it just runs wonderful smooth with a old 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM.
This Notebook is so old and it runs superb!
Once more I thought about how ressources are wasted these days.
Made another friend happy to tinker with the FreeBSD world. I'm sure I can "assimilate" him hehe...
Next project: I would like to use #FreeBSD with the "#Herbstluft #WM Oh my, so much to do, so less time §8-)
So, I've been a Rectangle (https://rectangleapp.com) girl for a while now, but I bought a lifetime license of Better Touch Tool (https://folivora.ai) years ago, and I never used it. Thing is: it was overwhelming. So much you can do with it with the kitchen sink thrown in. But now that I've learned how to use it as a WM, I'm starting to think I might redo all my window management with it because of the insane amount of options.

Nahe an der Grenze zu Bayern und Sachsen findet die Jugend-WM im #Amateurfunk #Peilsport vom 2. bis 6. Juli 2025 im tschechischen Mariánské Lázně statt. Ausgetragen werden die zwei klassischen Wettbewerbe auf 3,5 MHz und 144 MHz und der Sprint auf 3,5 MHz. Attraktive Gelände mit gutem Wegenetz erwarten die Nachwuchssportler. 2015 gab es dort bereits eine Europameisterschaft.

Tested out #Fluxbox. It was okay. I like the idea of #WM but do not have the ability to reign in my ADHD to do a proper set up. Tried #Openbox too; more of the same.
Removed Openbox, Fluxbox, JWM, and IceWM.
Reinstalled #TDE.
If this doesn’t work, I’m not sure what I will do with the Mango Pi Quad outside of recycling 
Trying to get #Gnome apps working in a plain #wm/compositor is really hair-pulling.
I'm on #sway on #Debian, and I can't get #Protonvpn to connect for the life of me.
I can import their openvpn/wireguard profile into #NetworkManager directly, but then my external IP doesn't actually change, according to:
