Just watched a stop motion animated film called #MemoirOfASnail (2024) which is 1 of 5 movies nominated for the #Oscar for Best #AnimatedFeature.

I thought Snail was "cute" & would give it a 6 out of 10 but I wouldn't buy the #DVD to add to my collection .

The only other Oscar nominated animated feature I've seen is #WildRobot (2024). I didn't like & would only give 4 out of 10. Bought Robot on DVD but returned it.

The other nominees are #WallceAndGrommetVengenceMostFowl, #Flow, #InsideOut2. Don't think Snail or Robot will win, even though I haven't seen the others. #InsideOut1 (2015) won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2015 & Inside Out 2 very well could win it again this year.

We'll see . . .

Just went to see The Wild Robot and it was *fantastic*. Tender and gut-wrenching, it made strong choices and was incredibly gorgeous. At least where I am, it leaves theaters this week, so if you've been considering going and can, please do.
