A slightly different #parkrunsandwich this morning as it had no #parkrun in it as I was on run director duties. It looked lovely, but there was a brutally cold wind that chilled us all during our volunteering, and turned out to be a headwind all the way home.

@wdenton There are local high resolution geo-referenced orthophotos in some countries, you can assume that they are at the right position. Had a 'gait assessment' yesterday for some new running shoes. My ankles do tend to twist when I run so new trainers with heel support will prevent that.
Just did my first run with them and they felt great. Achilles is fine but now have a few mild aches elsewhere where my legs are adjusting.

Legs still a bit sore from Thursday's squats, and yesterday's marathon pace long run session. But it was a #parkrunsandwich morning to go and celebrate a couple of friends 400th #parkrun and get that mileage in. I thought the time would be slower that it was as I was taking it nice and easy, aware I still had 4 and a half miles to run home after some snacking and chat. Some light partial eclipse viewing afterwards. Over 25 miles in about the same number of hours.

Marty - I log my rides with #Strava, which means I have an opportunity to make a short comment on each. Usually that's just a few sentences about destinations, observations about the snow and the heat, etc.
I also have a bicycling weblog just for the purpose at https://vielmetti.typepad.com/bicycle/ but somehow since it's disconnected from ride-by-ride tracking it only really captures the unusual events.
Garmin quo vadis? A Garmin Connect+ premium subscription? Really?
Makes you look cheap and greedy - considering the price of your more advanced watches. Luckily I don’t need the features you are now hiding behind the pay wall. Maybe the Performance Dashboards would be nice to have. And considering that Garmin Connect basically never gets an update those dashboards could have been released for free. And a useless AI? Haven’t you learned from the really bad Strava AI?
Seems DC Rainmaker is not impressed either.
