With my friend, over Thai food, I watched They Live (1987), directed by John Carpenter. It's an iconically weird #film and I love it in a low-key way.

I've just now #started Game 6 (2005), directed by Michael Hoffman, with a big sprawling cast of heavy hitting comedic actors led by Michael Keaton. I bought it a few months ago I think, but I heard a podcast not long ago where its producers mentioned it. So here I am. It's a NY #movie.

Just left #Twitter because of #Elon #Musk? If you are #new to the #fediverse here’s some #feditips to get #started:

  1. You should aim to post “Woof”, “Meow”, “Yip”, “Pika”, “Awoo”, “Yoshi”, or other noises 2~3 times a day. The algorithm favors those who do.
  2. To maximize your engagement, you should also post “im gay”. The algorithm is heterophobic.
  3. If you are not gay yet, make more posts.
  4. To promote a post, add the :promoted: emoji, and the algorithm will promote it.
  5. If you are seeing too many cisgendered people on your Time Line, simply nuke your mastodon account and remake one on the gayest akkoma you can find.
  6. Do not anthropomorphize the Algorithm. It hates it when you do that.
  7. If you are not sure what to post, try “Woof”. Posting is very important. If you stop posting the algorithm will be worried about you.
