I've had some major medical problems recently—the resurgence of some kind of #Seizure disorder, and some other neurological symptoms like really nasty aphasia, and a high risk HPV test—and the combination of those and how much work it's been filling out the #SSDI application and my existing slew of medical problems have meant that I haven't been able to pick up any of the gig work that I've been using to keep ourselves afloat. my spouse is also disabled and doesn't work either.

I also need to start saving up for the mountain of expenses associated with the recovery from my upcoming #TopSurgery. Warning over #mushroomgummies after five people attend hospital in NSW
The New South Wales health department has issued a warning for people to not consume Uncle Frog’s Mushroom Gummies after “several people presented to hospital experiencing unexpected #toxicity”.
Since April 2024, at least five people have been treated in NSW hospitals after ingesting the gummies. The products consumed were:

NSW Health says there have been other people hospitalised in other states, and it was working with other jurisdictions to investigate the issue.

I really don't know what to make of this. I've only had a few seizures, and they tend to be tonic-clonic, or what was previously known as "grand mal". I never have any memory of them, so that fits.
I would think that such an event would have awakened my housemates. I have no other evidence that anything happened during that period of time.

My smartwatch says that I was "awake" from 11:20pm until 1:30am last night. The thing is, I have no memory of being awake at all during that time. Given how tired I am this morning, though, I almost believe it.
It determines "awake" from the sensors picking up movement, as best I can tell. I'm thinking I may have had an extended #seizure during that time. Either that, or I was sleepwalking. It's not been this far off since I got it in late 2022.
