Stunning sunset last night, but one of those late-burners that you'd have missed out on if you'd packed up and gone home too soon. This is the Shoalhaven River estuary in Shoalhaven Heads.

Went out hunting Aurora Australia tonight which is rarely easy at latitude 35 south. Got a very faint glimpse of purple on the horizon, but was happy with the clarity of the Milky Way.

Dueling Waterfalls

Our ferry sails through the calm blue-green waters of Geirangerfjord. The channel is flanked by steep, (treed) green cliffs, punctuated by waterfalls. There are two waterfalls on opposing banks. On this day we're under dark skies, so colours are a bit muted. Geiranger Fjord is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular fjords in Norway. Having gone into four fjords, I would agree.
