@Nonilex Haven’t any of you read “On Tyranny”? It’s a very short read, but it says a lot about what’s going on. These agencies are all now corrupted at the top. Listening to those people? Of course you’re going to hear madness! Our best hope since Jan 20 has always been the people in those departments who are #resisting. To listen to this crap is an utter waste of time. To see TCF spout out XOs declaring down is up and then getting all depressed is playing into his hands. That’s what he wants! Don’t give it to him! There are people in every department who are doing their best to slow things down. Be like them! Resist! Work on 2026 elections. Fund ACLU. Do one thing, and don’t get anxious about everything else. You want to survive the next two years? Read the goddamn room.

Last Sunday, during Mass, I suffered a major anxiety issue. Those that know me well could tell that something was off. I did my best to hide what was happening, but the signs were there. This attack was likely caused by all the stress and worry that has invaded our lives since the presidential change of power.

It was also a moment for reflection for me. I may appear strong on the outside, but inside I am scared and worried about the future of our country and those that I love that are being attacked and vilified every single day.

In the past two week, my daughter has come under attack from dozens of conservative “Christians” who think it is their mandate from God to attack her for being transgender. Our church has been the target of a tremendous amount of hate online because we are “woke”. And I personally have been attacked by dozens of conservative “Christians” who believe I am a false prophet for teaching the Bible.

I preach the Gospel. The very Gospel we read this Sunday.

I noted in the news today that you announced "Dairy cows in Nevada have been infected with a new form of bird flu that is distinct from the version that has been spreading through herds over the last year. Your finding indicates that the virus, known as H5N1, has spilled from birds into cows at least twice — leading to these two sets of infections — and that it could continue to do so."

The D1.1 form of H5N1 has also shown itself to be dangerous to people. Of the 67 Americans known to have become ill with H5N1 so far, the only one who died was infected with this version.

Bird flu also has affected 126 flocks in Ohio over the past 30 days, representing a total number of 22.95 million birds on infected premises.

We all deserve to know the full truth of the spread of bird flu in the US.

@leahbobet That’s actually very cool! Those kinds of conversations are the composting society needs to get thru this. When people say well I won’t need to grow my own tomatoes etc I ask them, but what if you do. tRumps tariff talk is already affecting people who thought their jobs were secure.. I started my kitchen garden again. Anything I don’t use will go straight to a food bank. Assisting is #Resisting #USPol @trouble
