There was a low-grade rumbling all around, and Cecile's legs felt oddly jellified, as if she'd just disembarked after weeks on a clipper ship and hadn't gotten her land legs yet. Her bones were vibrating. Looking around her, she saw that everything lying loose on the ground--pebbles, acorns, the neighbors' kids toys--was rattling round like popping corn in a frying pan.

"Is it-- is it an earthquake?" she asked.

"Nah. I'd call that more of an earth #quiver," said Zander.

From Jack's arms, through the air, and onto the bed, Ophelia smouldered when she met his glance.
A mischievous breast poked through her loose blouse with skirt hiked up in a most unladylike fashion.
Hastily fumbling with his belt and fly, Jack was soon naked and ready for action. He crawled atop her, feeling her flesh #quiver with antici—pation.

She found him and her hunger gone when she stirred.
"If only he waited, he could've gone a second round" she mused with a quiet burp.

He was humming to himself in the bathroom when I got home.
"Did you hear?" I called.
"Just a minute!" he sang out. "I'm just washing out a few things!"
"He heard," I thought to myself.
He came out of the bathroom wearing his fuzzy purple robe.
"Did you hear?" he asked me.
"No! What?" I said, rolling my eyes.
"He's coming!" he said. "I'm all a #quiver!"
"Who?" I asked, playing dumb.
"Oh! You!" he said, swatting at me. "You know who! Bobby Vee!" He clasped his hands. "He's so *dreamy*!"

Heute hatten wir einen Tag Aufenthalt am Fisch River Canyon

Bereits gestern bei der Fahrt zur Lodge, die letzten 100km dauerten ca. 2½-3 Stunden, sind uns die interessanten Bäume aufgefallen, die in der Gegend hier zahlreich vorkommen und auf Englisch #Quiver Tree heißen, auf Deutsch #Köcherbaum, es handelt sich eigentlich nicht um Bäume, sondern um Sukkulenten, die bis zu 500 Jahre alt werden können.

Der Name Köcherbaum kommt daher, dass die Indigenen Bewohner der Gegend aus den Stämmen Pfeilköcher hergestellt haben.

Für den Hauptteil des Tages waren wir mit einer Tour in den Canyon beschäftigt.

Auf dem Weg zum Rand des Canyons konnten wir Zebras und Strauße sichten.

Dann legte unser Fahrer Wilhelm den Allrad ein und begann den Abstieg mit unserem Geländewagen.

Die Fahrt zum Grund des Canyon war ein großes Abenteuer in spektakulärer Szenerie.

Zwischendurch hüpften uns ein paar Klippspringer vor die Linse.

Am Grund des Canyons konnten wir uns im Fluss abkühlen, während Wilhelm uns ein astreines Mittagessen zubereitete.

Davon haben wir leider gar keine Fotos gemacht, weil alles an uns staubig und verschwitzt war und wir uns nur auf die Abkühlung im Wasser und das leckere Braai konzentriert haben.

Der Rückweg war derselbe wie der Hinweg, nur ohne Klippspringer und Zebras.

Wasser wird hier wie fast überall in #Namibia aus großer Tiefe nach oben gepumpt, hier ist eine dieser windbetriebenen Pumpen.
