Todays #Positivity is feeling well enough to exercise for the first time in a week. Still felt tired but completed a polymeric session without any obvious signs of distress.

Plan is to get back to running on Friday.

“We came out of an Andy Fairweather Low gig at Ripley blues club. It was a bit chilly but we only had to wait 10 minutes for the bus to take us back to our hotel in Harrogate. Unfortunately the bus did not arrive and 40 minutes later freezing cold in just t shirts we were stranded at what can only be described as a dark lonely bus stop in the middle of a very deserted ‘Emmerdale’ village."

Watched news this morning- Canadian (mostly about coming election: worrying but not full on devastation at the moment) + U.S./International (mostly devastation by U.S. actions and other regional dictators). Yikes. Now YouTube has recommended a woman in evening dress playing a huge harp on the beach for nearly 90 minutes. Sure, I'll take that, along with editing some #nature photos!

Not quite quoting as I was jumping and cheering.
Negativity will not make #Canada stronger. We will help each other and build better.

Could we see #UBI labour and union protections and some #SocialHousing already? Federalize our oil and gas?

The US had been dragging the tone of our nation down for decades as we competed commercially. Let's pivot and step up to the #EU standard.

Give the #Carney libs a mandate, and fill every other seat with #NDP and #Greens... maybe? We have got to stop letting regressive Cons into the room. They are, at best, a distraction, never a contributor to real growth.

Also, mad props to Carney for being able to answer queries in both languages with some humility, he is not natively bilingual but clearly trying.

#CBC getting it on record that women's rights aren't on the table. Stay the course.

Tell me about a kindness you saw, did or received today.

Here's mine:

There was an elderly lady coming down the stairs at my GP surgery so I waited at the bottom before heading up.
When she realised I was waiting for her, she said something about her knees, she seemed to feel she needed to justify being slow, so I just reassured her that there was no rush and she could take all the time that she needed.

“In half term, my friend and I decided to go swimming and afterwards we thought we would have a go at a couple of the arcade games in the arcade in the next building.

The way it works is after each game you get a certain amount of blue tickets, which you can then trade in for something. However, due to the nature of an arcade you have to rack up a lot of tickets for it to be worth anything. As we only played a few games for fun, it wasn't worth much.

Todays #Positivity is washing your car by hand. First time this year doing it and it is always a vaguely satisfying experience. A good audiobook and go at it with the sponge etc.
