Scott 🏴😷
I have seen transphobic stuff said on Fosstodon, report having gone unresponded to. Guess where the pewdiepie fan I just blocked came from? Yup.

This is only a little bit of evidence, and a lot of people would say I'm going overboard, but I've also seen it talked about from other people and the impression I get is that the people who run Fosstodon just want to think about FOSS software and want to plug their ears and say "la la la I can't hear you" when it comes to "politics".

To me, that stance would be enough to get the block from this server if it was a small instance, because I know the sort of bigotry that can be got up to when the moderation team takes a hands-off approach and a neutral stance on genocidal politics.

but

Fosstodon is fully 6% of my followers.
