I can see everything I want on aliexpress - except for the lens.

Which lens is going to let me view around a A4 / foolscap area?

Most of these setups are being used as microscopes with lenses giving around 150X magnification. Far too much for reading a book.

Didn't have any proper equipment, so I improvised a pinhole camera making a small hole in a piece of paper with a toothpick and projecting the image of the (partial) eclipse on a second piece of paper.
Rudimentary, but it works.

Spent a significant portion of weekend time on setting up a UTM vietual machine with windows ro run OriginLab on my macbook. When finally I got around all obstacles along the way and finally run the soft, it only moticated me to give LabPlot another try as it is native to macOS. Opinnions or recommendations welcome from people doing plots of measurement or other sara on macs. Also if they are like „why don’t you use python??” #academicchatter #physics #optics
