Because no moon in our Solar system is known to have its own moon, if I had to pick my favorite it'd be a moon around another not-a-planet.

Pluto and Charon are mutually tidally locked, ie appear exactly in the same place in the sky all the time from the surface of each.

The color and brightness of both Pluto and Charon have been processed identically to allow direct comparison of their surface properties, and to highlight the similarity between Charon’s polar red terrain and Pluto’s equatorial red terrain. Pluto and Charon are shown with approximately correct relative sizes, but their true separation is not to scale.

Earthshine nights are coming up on April 30 and May 1! These are the best nights to see the dark portion of a crescent Moon because the Sun’s light reflects off Earth and illuminates the Moon. They occur a few days before and after a New Moon.

I just released the 11th episode *Guna 8000* of my #MusicPodcast Unlive Musick, it's a live recording I did on a Tuesday around midnight in February 2024. I played with a xylophone and an iPad app and a few minutes in I can hear myself humming for a bit. It's the whole uncut recording but with some effects added.

I wanted to release a new episode on every #NewMoon but definetly can't keep up with that anymore. I'll go slower now but more episodes will come :)
