This shows triangulated surface remeshing using a (very basic) #JuliaLang wrapper for @BrunoLevy01 et al.'s fantastic Geogram library (https://github.com/BrunoLevy/geogram).
Recently, I've put a lot of effort in completing the documentation of 
FElupe, especially its API reference. There is still room for improvement, but I consider it to be in a fairly good shape now 
. There are also new tutorials 
and examples 
- have a look if you haven't already! If you have ideas 
on how to improve it, please let me know!
I consider 
meshio to be probably THE BEST open-source library related to #scientificcomputing and #meshing.

@villares Great! In FElupe, I eliminated one loop for performance reasons: First, I create a line-mesh and then expand it to a rectangle.

Hey, exciting news about quad/hex-meshing: Easily create planar quad meshes between two line meshes by interpolation. Same applies for hex meshes between two quad meshes. Will be included in the upcoming release 7.7.0 of FElupe on PyPI!
On to a bit of #EngineeringGeology and #GeotechnicalEngineering, the erosion is a serious problem for any structures built on or near the coast and there is a mainline railway track on the route to London which runs along it on this stretch. #NetworkRail is busy trying to stabilize and strengthen the cliffs using #RockAnchor, #RockBolts and #meshing to retard the process. Here you can see workers #abseiling as part of their work.
Added textured OBJ model import to GIBBON. The OBJ import supports mixed faces (e.g. tri+quads).
The demo video shows coupled refinement of both the geometry and texture data for an imported model.
Also useful for resampling digital image correlation data on 3D surfaces.
Checking out "Taubin" smoothing. Looks great for smoothing voxel derived meshes. Video shows voxel mesh (red) of a femur and the Taubin smoothed surface retrieved (white).

Falls ihr ein vorhandenes #Koax-Kabel habt: Das lässt sich mittels #MoCA-Adaptern für Gigabit-LAN verwenden.
