@delta also the whole "BuT #mEtAdAtA?" Discussion is completely blown out of proportions by #Signal fanboys.
- Whereas #deltaChat and #XMPP+#OMEMO are truly #decentralized, #MultiVendor & #MultiProvider #OpenStandards that allow for full #SelfCustody off all the keys and comms.
In fact, I'm convinced someone already made a #delta #chat #server as an #OnionService over @torproject / #Tor just for the lulz.
- The biggest Advantage for Delta Chat is that it doesn't require yet another server but instead just uses #IMAP + #SMTP and can even be integrated in #corporate communications that require #archival and #indexing by merely feeding the private keys to said #eMail archival software [i.e. #benno #MailArchiv], which makes it possible to comply with regulations like #GoBD & #HGB where applicable.
Not that this is something the average user encounters, but it is a big bonus for larger organizations!

Library of Congress states that the U.S. periodical only ran from 1974-1976
so I have absolutely no idea (a 4th different journal?) what Scopus claims to be covering "from 1980 to 1981" 
I'm genuinely impressed with how many wrong things Scopus (Elsevier) can state about a journal...

If you use #Google #search, you only look into a catalogue, selected by a transnational company. The indexing pool has shifted further: Google shows new content only for a few hours… if the publisher authority is smallish.
"For these smaller players, it's not just about creating good content anymore – it's about convincing Google that your content is absolutely necessary for their index.
"Google has transformed from a comprehensive search engine into something more akin to an exclusive catalog.

Today in the spotlight: Project LOREN
The project was set up to investigate a variety of legal questions re building & piloting the #OWI.
The team has compiled & analysed numerous laws + norms of relevance. Results are currently compiled into a legal opinion with actionable advice regarding #crawling, #searching, #indexing, #sharing of index and #disclosure of #data for scientific purposes.
This index is a work in progress, but it will probably be helpful for folks trying to find things in the Pali Suttas. It is the main way that suttas for the Daily Sutta Emails are selected.
