Two generations of strength and resilience.

Top: Holocaust survivors—women who endured unthinkable horrors.
Bottom: Their granddaughters—proud IDF fighters.

A powerful symbol of hope, determination, and continuity.

“משואה לתקומה” – From Holocaust to Revival – isn’t just a phrase.
As an Israeli, I can tell you: every one of us knows it by heart.
It tells the story of our people—from despair to revival.

These survivors carried a dream: a safe homeland.
Not because of the Holocaust, but through the Jewish return to Israel.

The IDF, founded as a defense army, stands at the core of that promise.
Today, more than ever, we know why it matters.
Every Israeli serves with honor—defending our future.

This image is “משואה לתקומה.”
The legacy lives on in a new generation guarding our nation.

I keep thinking back to this pivotal moment in Nov. '23 and wondering how very different things would be if Americans had listened to her then.

"The International Democracy Union (IDU; known as the International Democrat Union until 2023) is an international alliance of centre-right to right-wing political parties. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, the IDU consists of 84 full and associate members from 65 countries. It is chaired by Stephen Harper, former prime minister of Canada."

International Fellowship of Fascists is an accurate amd honest name. Beware!

Quoting Nir Hasson: “all the evidence indicates that in the war that began on October 7, 2023, the IDF loosened all the legal and moral reins on its soldiers and committed too many war crimes to count”

The massacre of aid workers in Gaza is just the tip of the iceberg. Nir Hasson writes that the real horror is the pattern of incidents – like the deaths of hostages, WCK workers, & the Abu Nassar family – revealing a troubling reality in Gaza, investigated by reputable media outlets. These aren't isolated events.

[…] Yet the true horror isn't the killing of the paramedics, but the truth arising through the smoke from all the windows that have been opened and the accumulated evidence that has emerged from Gaza since the start of the war. There's no reason to think the incidents described above – the three hostages, the World Central Kitchen workers, the Abu Nassar family, the paramedics and dozens of others investigated by every self-respecting Western media outlet – are exceptional.

[…] Given this accumulation of black balls – the testimonies, the photographs, the investigative reports, the reports by international organizations, the satellite photos and common sense – there's no logic in assuming that the other 30,000 civilians (at least) who were killed in Gaza, died in compliance with Israeli and international law.

#GazaGenocide / That Herzog?

#Ynet is reporting that Israeli President Herzog’s and his wife will lead the 37th annual "March of the Living," which will take place between #Auschwitz and #Birkenau this Thursday.

Israel's Herzog participation in the Holocaust memorial is clearly deeply hypocritical given his actions and statements. His rhetoric attributing collective blame for #Hamas’s actions to all Palestinians—a statement cited by the International Court of Justice—stands in contrast to the solemnity of commemorating the systematic extermination of Jews during the #Holocaust.

[...] What statesmanship is there in the signing of a lethal munition which, in the eyes of the world, represents Israel’s greatest sin in this war – sowing devastation in Gaza and killing innocents. --- Netta Ahituv wrote Haaretz.

The widely publicized image of Herzog signing a bomb shell intended for use in Gaza, an act condemned as indicative of genocidal intent, underscores a disturbing disconnect between remembering past atrocities while contributing to the suffering of civilians in #Gaza, where over 50,000 people, predominantly women and children, have been murdered so far by the #IDF.

The Washington Post · IDF says ‘misunderstanding’ led to killings of Gaza emergency workersBy Louisa Loveluck

From the FB page of Breaking the Silence::
The IDF Spokesperson has just released its account of the incident in which 15 rescue workers were killed in Gaza. In a word? Cover-up.
The investigation is riddled with contradictions, vague phrasing, and selective details. The only "serious" disciplinary action taken: the dismissal of the deputy commander of Golani’s elite unit. His reported “failure” was submitting an incomplete account of the incident. In other words, he lied.
We all remember when the IDF claimed that the ambulances emergency lights weren’t on — and then we saw the footage proving otherwise. Not every lie has a video to expose it, but this report doesn’t even attempt to engage with the truth.
Another day, another cover-up. More innocent lives taken, with no accountability.
Bonus: The report dedicates an entire paragraph to praising the dismissed officer. Here's a part of it:
“The deputy commander of Golani's elite unit is a highly decorated officer, whose military service and personal story reflect a spirit of combat, volunteerism, and deep dedication.”

"According to the U.N.’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), nearly 3,700 children were hospitalized for acute malnutrition in March, an 80 percent increase from February."

Better later than never...”

by Ricky Hale And Council Estate Media on Substack

“We are seeing more evidence of Zionists turning against Israel’s genocide in Gaza. You might say who cares what Zionists think? But this matters because the loss of Zionist support is probably the only way this nightmare ends. We should therefore amplify it every time a Zionist speaks out”

'Only Hellfire': #Israel Says Lifesaving Aid, Troop Withdrawal Off the Table for #Gaza

"Israel's defense ministers can't stop publicly confessing to #WarCrimes," said one U.S. journalist.

by Brett Wilkins, Apr 16, 2025

Excerpt: "Israeli media reported Wednesday that senior government security officials believe Gaza will run out of #humanitarian supplies and #food in about a month.

"Legal experts say the siege is a war crime, and United Nations experts and #HumanRights groups have called Israel's blockade and use of #starvation as a weapon of war acts of #genocide.

"The International Court of Justice—which is weighing a genocide case against Israel—last March issued a provisional order to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. Many critics say Israel has ignored the directive.

"#Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister #YoavGallant, who ordered the siege, are also fugitives from the International Criminal Court, which last year issued warrants to arrest the pair for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the siege"

The #IDF said they "bombed the house because there's an #Hamas operative in there", but It's clear what the attack was about. It's them silencing dissent and truth to power by killing a photo #journalist.

They don't think much of people's intelligence in general, because it's so obvious that even a child could see.

There's just been so many journalists straight up murdered by the #Isreali state.
