Katie Steckles
Today's #hackjam successes: made a banana loaf, built a new webpage and learned some more JavaScript, reattached the glass to the oven door, did a bit of gardening and refilled the bird feeder, fixed part of the mechanism for the storage compartment under the bed, and added some cable tacks up the side of the bookcase. Just need to weave in the ends on a new pair of gloves I finished knitting. Productive!

Katie Steckles
Now a SEGA MegaDrive is attached to the end of the HDMI cable (apparently there's an adaptor for that) #hackjam #itstarts

Katie Steckles
This afternoon's #hackjam successes - worked on some data visualisations for my #quantifiedself, and (as I'm assured is very wise) reimplemented date handling myself; also sent some emails for a hacker camp. Other people were creating crossword reference docs and SVG/CSS animations of skydiving tricks, drilling holes to run HDMI cables to a TV and taking a tortoise out of its winter hibernation (in the fridge). Very standard normal #hackjam tasks.

Katie Steckles
Today's #hackjam successes: laser cutting the pieces for a ridiculous maths video prop, and setting up some files for an aperiodic tiling based laser project too; other people worked on a web thing for tagging and sharing videos, and constructed a fiddly crossword. Also there was cake and custard!

Katie Steckles
Today's #HackJam afternoon: sewed a large section of patchwork that will go towards a long-term project I've got in the pipeline; dug out some old USB dance mats and started work on a browser game they can control; played with my code that implements various sorting algorithms for testing a puzzle.

Katie Steckles
Today's #HackJam afternoon successes: bought 50 NFC tags, "fixed" a luggage scale (it just started working again), made part of a tiny felt robot that has a light-up heart 🤖 💖

Katie Steckles
Today's #HackJam afternoon successes: added a feature to my JavaScript website, cleaned the battery compartment on an old LED Christmas decoration and soldered a loose wire so it works again, tidied the HackJam box of cables and components and lined up some projects for next time (ordered a stepper motor and put things to the top of the box).
