#workoutOfTheDay

First a strength part:

6x, every 1'30" perform 1 Power Clean + 1 Push Jerk @ 75% of your 1RM.

Did 25 / 27 / 29 / 31 / 32 / 33kg,

Then 3x 3 Clean Deadlifts + Clean Pulls @ 85-90%. Did those three sets at 33kg.

Then the #workout: "Kylo Ren"
* 50 Deadlifts (70/102) (+- 55% 1RM)
* 50 Bar Facing Burpees
Partition as desired

Finished in 7'10", doing the deadlifts @ 67kg, and slicing it up in 5 rounds of 10 each.

Bref... les chats. Rien d'autre à ajouter. 🐱 !

Anyone else have OpinionsTM on the etiquette of doing supersets in a #gym

Mine is: if you're doing all your exercises on the same machine/bench then do supersets to your heart's content. If you're doing sets in different places though, it's a dick move to clog up spaces you're not even using.

I don’t begrudge any dude for getting into self improvement. Working on making yourself better is amazing and empowering. But the current brand of male self improvement is bad news

Can my fellow men please find more balance between the supplements and gym time with picking up a history book and working on mental health?

Improving your headspace is just as important as getting ripped

#workoutOfTheDay was suffering in the sun

First a #snatch complex. This was to really start carefully, since it's something I'm not confident in wrt my shoulder issues.

#EMOM 10'
* 1 Power Snatch + 1 Hang Squat Snatch + 1 Overhead Squat

Started at 7.5kg (training bar), and built up to 14.5kg :D which went painlessly and in good form. Happy about that :)

Then 3x 3 Snatch Pulls, which I did at 17.5, 27.5 and 37.5kg. Felt good.

Next was the #wod "Action Hank"

21 - 18 - 15 - 12 - 9 - 6
* Deadlifts (57 / 85)
* GHD Sit-Ups / V-Ups

I did the deadlifts with 50kg on the bar, and V-Ups. Finished in 8'10".

#WorkoutOfTheDay

First some strength: Back squats!
20 reps at 60% of 1RM, which is 52kg for me.

Building up this was:
10 @ 40kg
15 @ 50kg
20 @ 52kg

Then the party started with the #workout "Dee Dee"

5 rounds:
2' AMRAP
* 12 kcal Echo Bike
* 10 Front Squats (with 20.5kg)
* Max Bar Facing Burpees
* 2' Rest

I hate burpees. So much.
Finished 9 / 9 / 8 / 6 / 7...

My home weighs area is absolutely filthy from two months of disuse and a cyclone. Since I can go down stairs without crutches now I want to start working up my upper body again. Leggies can wait until I have a whole foot again.

Seeing a huge cliff in my graphs is pretty dispiriting, but I should be able to pretty rapidly increase again. Going to be at least three months before I'm back to where I was, though.
