I've fallen for the #gridfinity trap.

How can I get out of here?

Testing out a #gridfinity print in petg on the new Elegoo Centauri Carbon 3D printer.

Ach ja #OpenSource man muss es einfach lieben, oder?

Binnen drei Tagen bin ich in der #3dprint Welt auf zwei Grid Systeme aufmerksam geworden. #ModularBoard und #OpenGrid. Klar fange ich direkt an zu drucken um dann das nächste zu entdecken. Und alle haben Vor- & Nachteile und keins löst es gegenseitig auf.
Immerhin sind sie (über Umwege) halbwegs Kompatibel (mit #gridfinity was alles auch noch gibt)

Free #EDF energy this morning, so I put on the washing, the dishwasher and some #3dprinting (more #gridfinity boxes!)

Started printing my first #Gridfinity thing. I think I should have used a lower infill.

Next project I've been doing quietly in the background... Custom designing Gridfinity storage and such for the PaintPal system.

Still a lot of organizing to go, but finally have enough shelving to hold things in a handy place. Where the minis temporarily are is to hold paints I am using while painting instead of all over the desk.

I may print the back extensions so I can go 4x5 deep for paint brushes organizers and such.

Just tested adding #Gridfinity compatibility to my reference bolt holder and it about doubled the print time. Eeeeeek!

Wieder mal was konstruiert und ausgedruckt. Meine Frau wollte ihre Kalligraphie-Füller besser organisieren. Das kann sie jetzt mit diesem stapelbaren Halter im Gridfinity-Format.

I'm desperate, i'm trying to #3dprint some #gridfinity bins but i get these ugly walls and i don't know why or to make the dissapear.

In the picture you can see some results after tweaking some features in the slicer, but still i cannot fully understand why this phenomenon ​​

Can somebody help me? #Boost appreciated!

Is there such a thing as a 3D model validator?

I'm playing with some #gridfinity stuff and it looks like some folks have taken.. uh.. liberties... with the correct shape.

It would be nice to have a tool (web based maybe?) that would let me deterministically say: Yes this will actually fit before I take the time to go to the #3dPrinting stage.

Right now, I throw it into tinkercad and eyeball it which is pretty terrible.
