However, the associated website is under construction, and the Google app store says they are "offered by Google Commerce Ltd", which sounds strange. I just have two issues:1) Unless I download Organic Maps from the Google Play Store, I can't use it with Android Auto when I'm in a car. I want to disconnect from Google, so this is not ideal. 2) It seems like <a href="https://fosstodon.org/@organicmaps" class="u-url mention">@organicmaps</a> is the official Mastodon account, but they don't have their website verified.It only took a few minutes to copy the places I had saved on Google Maps into a note in <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Fossify" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Fossify</a> Notes (<a href="https://www.fossify.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no">https://www.fossify.org/</a>). I have to force stop the launcher app to get it working again (which is tricky because I can't use the launcher to do it).Doesn't happen with the stock Pixel Launcher, only third-party launchers.Anybody got any ideas how to fix this?

Again, having never saved passwords or preserved sessions, cookies, etc. made this so easy. I also had already started keeping my bookmarks in a text file on <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Fossify" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Fossify</a> Notes (<a href="https://www.fossify.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no">https://www.fossify.org/</a> or available on <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/FDroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#FDroid</a>), so those were no issue either. It's crazy how few note applications for Android allow you to just write notes as plain text files that you can copy to a computer.I did notice that F-Droid warns the upstream code is not entirely free, and I don't know the specific details of that, but almost anything is better than letting <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Mozilla" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Mozilla</a> sell my data.
