Climate Jenny 2.1<p>Since we are talking <a href="https://biodiversity.social/tags/ferns" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ferns</span></a>, would you like to hear about how Boughton Cobb, author of Peterson Field Guide to Ferns, was a “well, actually” guy? I bought this 1963 book at a used book sale and just got around to looking at it today. </p><p>I love Royal Fern. There’s a lovely stand of them at a nearby wetlands, one of my favorite places. So, checking the entry…</p><p>“By some it is considered our finest fern; actually it is too coarse really….”</p><p>C’mon, dude!</p><p>Aside from that, it’s quite a good book.</p>
