Move Email Archives to a New Account

Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Vivaldi and Outlook can move messages from one IMAP account to another. Just drag and drop! But Gmail makes it a bit more complicated.

Does anyone have recommendations for #googlevoice alternatives? I'm currently #degoogling and am in need of a replacement. Preferably free. I primarily use it for #voicemail, though sometimes for voice and text.

I have finally got Aurora Store to work again. Google Services is now uninstalled from my smartphone again. Yay!

Does anyone know of a stock tracker site that won't keep crashing?

I'm following the Tesla debacle with great interest. I was on Google Finance, but I'm de-Googling myself, and, as mentioned, it keeps crashing.

If you're #deGoogling and thus avoiding Google #Calendar what do people recommend for alternative calendaring. What do you do when sent an ICAL file for example... at the moment I don't really have a way to deal with those other than open them in vim.

I changed the email of all of my #BOINC projects from GMail to Tuta. Another step in #degoogling but it looks like it broke the BOINCStats page. Oh well, maybe it will sort itself out

Leaving Gmail is making me sad.

I signed up when it was invitation only, getting an address that was just my name with no numbers needed. It was useful and exciting and I still like it today.

But I can't support Big Tech anymore, Google or anyone. They took all these amazing ideas and used them in the worst possible ways. They put an asterisk on every feature.

Lacking a calendar widget, though.
Lacking a sync feature for my phone's pics.
Still dependent on the Android features connected with Google.

Malgré #Magisk et le module universal safetynet fix rien à faire de mon côté... Et il ne me reste que ça à régler pour degoogliser mon smartphone.
