The more time I spend in the forest, the longer I can handle my workload. I think Monday went well…hoping today does too 
Went for a wander down to the creek since there’s a nice breeze. Sun is a bit warm now though.
Found some nice mossy roots though.

I hike up to this tiny forest creek once a year with my family. It’s about 3 miles in, and this pool is probably the only fishable spot around. I didn’t catch any, but got four hits, likely Brook trout. Still a healthy stream

It was warm, Smallmouth and Redbreast sunfish were getting active - felt like real spring I even caught a White Sucker

It’s been an incredibly busy week, I definitely need some fly fishing tomorrow
The weather is going to be warm, a lot of people will be out there too
I should go to a quieter, less crowded areas
On the walk to a waterfall I came across this bend in the creek. I spent over an hour in this small area. I not sure why I was so captivated, but it was so serene. Although not a grand landscape I was so content finding every angle to shoot. A brief side-to-side tail wag
I guess this deer thought I wasn’t a threat and felt safe enough to let me stay and keep fishing
After a heavy rain, the area transformed into a huge puddle that looked impassable without wading
But someone had placed stepping stones, so we could cross easily
Only some people seemed to have went further, so we had a nice and quiet time
