🎨 #creativeworkshops are not everyone's cup of tea.

It is important to tailor #research and #codesign activities to the community you are working with.

For this project exploring freedom of movement, for example, we invited a group of designers from all over the world to use the #collage technique to shape their idea of *countries with no borders*.

💡 Creative community, creative methods. It was the perfect match!

🙌🏼🙌🏾 But involving people in #arts and #crafts isn't always that easy, and often not necessary either. My advice is that of always having an #adaptablemindset, #goingwiththeflow and #trustingtheenergy that the group creates.

As a member of the evaluation team, I completed an exploration of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (#EDI) of 'Making Connections' - an arts festival based in the Old Waiting Room in Peckham Rye Station.

🔧 Methods:
• street photography

🧭 Areas of exploration:
• physical and linguistics #accessibility to the art space
• choice of #networkingchannels
• alignment with #localcommunity's needs and vision

This project was made possible by Lost Text Found Space and London College of Communication (University of the Arts London) through its EDI funding schemes. A special thanks to my talented team-mates Karla Rosales and Abbey Lew.

Updating my #introduction to celebrate changed balance of life things. I live and walk by the sea in Wollongong, and I’m a gardener. In 2025 I joined up with a small organisation focused on compassionate ways of working in healthcare. I’ve been on here since 2016 and I’m still here, listening and thinking.

I believe we have to work together differently to face the future we’re facing. Life is fragile.

CALL FOR EVIDENCE AND IDEAS A SUMMARY Call for Evidence and Ideas The Co-Pro Futures Inquiry will propose measures to address barriers to participatory and co-produced research within universities and the higher education sector. Between 2024-2026 this will involve workshops, desk-based secondary analysis, interviews, and a high-profile panel who will identify actions that can be put into practice. The Call for Evidence and Ideas is one key way that we want to gather collective intelligence to support the sector-wide deliberation and development of an action plan. We are opening the call for submissions until February 28th WE WANT EVIDENCE TO DEMONSTRATE 1. The size and scale of the problem 2. Actions and solutions that are already being tried and tested IDEAS Ideas for what kinds of formal and informal actions might really change the conditions for co-produced research We hope to hear evidence from: Researchers | Co-researchers | Partner organisations | Professional service staff | University leaders and managers | Infrastructure organisations | Funders | Higher education policy-makers

Con Chasing the Moon, per ora disponibile solo in lingua inglese, potrete avere l’occasione di imparare come osservare la Luna per determinare alcune delle caratteristiche della sua orbita (la differenza tra i periodi sinodico e sidereo e l’inclinazione della sua orbita).
L’attività, dalla Slovenia, è stata sviluppata all’interno del progetto di co-design STEAM-Med dell’OAE Center Italy svoltosi a Lampedusa, in Sicilia, nel 2022.
