As I was looking for a Typst editor, I accidentally came across a super useful tool for writing letters. It is called Escritoire, and it is pretty good and simple to use!

I recently tried writing a DIN-conform letter using Typst and I now kind of wish that I hadn't - with this tool, it took me less than 15 minutes of work to actually write a formal letter (and it also stores contacts, and is hosted on #codeberg!): https://codeberg.org/dudenix/escritoire

I'm currently saving all the collected links to local files. I'm just wondering whether it wouldn't make more sense to organize this development via @Codeberg. This might also make it easier to find collaborators. Whether #software is developed or #knowledge is built up probably doesn't matter to #Codeberg. (Or?)

I'll take a closer look at this. Experiences and tips are welcome.

I want a "Github Desktop" app but just for like all got stuff. I suck at got and remembering all the little weird commands any time I need to do something outside fetch, push, pull. I know there are a few different git GUIs out there but none of them have the simplicity of Github Desktop. I don't plan on doing anymore personal projects on github and moving to codeberg and a self-hosted Forgejo for private repos. but it stinks to lose my personal favorite workflow.
