I’m aiming for next Friday for milestone one of my WIP indie app Deluge. (It's a task management app for people for whom "completing" their to-do list is not a thing.)

I've planned 14 milestones so far, and I'm sure once I'm in the polishing stage I'll re-jig things. But milestone 1 will get it to the point where I can actually use it. I'm quite excited!

Building in public isn't what it used to be. And while I still enjoy building and creating passion projects, I'm noticing there's a lot of context that gets lost in translation.

Assumptions, expectations, and misunderstandings seem to come with the territory.

One reason it's taking me a while to write the App Documentation is there are a lot of features to document.

That's a good vibe so this must be vibe coding.

I know there are lots of features to be added later and I can already see the one star reviews because it doesn't do X in version 1.0 or god forbid I want to make some money from my efforts.

Still this is a good app to build on.

I said good help/documentation is important for a decent Mac App and I stand by that.

But creating that documentation is exhausting.

I keep seeing things to improve in the App. That's good but it's taking time.

And looking at this screenshot has me reording the menu buttons now…
