While camping near Polychrome Pass in early May, I watched this young Dall sheep square off with two Gyrfalcons on a bluff. They held their ground. The sheep thought better of it.

6:00AM: 38F, overcast.

I saw the barest blush of pink between the mountains when I got up at 5, but it disappeared into gray by 5:30.

The clouds will be clearing today, though, so the sun lovers will have their rays.

The chance of rain happens after 4, when I usually take a walk, but I'll brave a sprinkle or two. I haven't done a ton of walking lately and at my age, you either use it or lose it quickly!
