The joke being that AI and people are stupid.This premise is correct and true and the concept of the joke is incorrect.Any important email will be read by a human. Any AI to AI interaction via email actually shows the email was a waste of time for a human. Removing a human from this is a very good thing. Where information is needed to be communicated like event notifications (happening with or without you), the conclusion is that email was a bad method.The prediction for the future becomes obvious. AI sent to AI read emails will happen and immediately following we will all start getting useful API’s and API integration on all things. People will once again be talking about the “internet of things”.

Once this is true, it’s can’t not happen.The Prince effect supports it too. That is where a military leader has a credible chance of winning and becoming the next leader, whom nobody wants to annoy. My description of an ‘escalating minimum’ still holds. The American’s are being honest; they feel North Korean troops will give Russia the edge to take a chunk of <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Ukraine" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Ukraine</a>. The US has escalated to stop Ukraine losing with a view that if they can’t lose, they will eventually win. UK and France are supporting allies.*Response to aggression is not escalation.The next natural opportunity for upping the response is literally 11th hour 19th January. Any response to Biden will hit Trump and the Russians hope for their sanctions being lifted.US Europe cables are the big ones and probably the US UK aka New York London one being the biggest. Finland being cut from Germany is like Alaska being cut from US West coast. Not going to do much economic damage but really going to piss everyone off.Satellite Bandwidth has improved considerably but still no where near the growth in load.Sanctions would naturally offset the cable cut threat, but Russia can’t up the physical violence, the West can’t significantly up the trade sanctions. Mostly maxed out.So it’s intact cables for long-range limits. Ukraine needs to develop its own Neptune upgrade. They are probably getting help. Well done the US for inventing an army based missile system. The markets will get hammered on cable trade (US UK) but Russia will also get hammered.This is a failure to secure key infrastructure, not a desperate need.I will not be held to ransom.

Every American component that can be switched for a European one will be switched.Any missile that can’t be fired because the US said so, has less value. Doing so does three major things:1) The strongman illusion compounds Russia’s progress, but the reverse is also true. As Russia starts to lose territory that too will be compounded by the appearance of a weakman. 2) Everyone loves a winner. Western aid will flow like water as everyone tries to be at the top of Ukraine’s friends list, for a bite of that post war reconstruction. 3) Ukrainian’s who so far have avoided joining the fight because they don’t want to die or be horrifically injured, will not want to be labelled with shame and will want the label of honour.* We will see lines at recruitment centres.Bring on 2025!* No British or French or European wants to die in <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Ukraine" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Ukraine</a> so it is fine for a Ukrainian to want the same.
