You can date a Swiss person by the value of the US dollar they learnt at school. I remember when it was 2.5 Swiss francs. Today it fell to 0.82. #currencyexchange #swissfranc

Ecnomoy; Hot take.
And yes, I am biased.
The #swissfranc should become the #defaultcurrency or the #globalreserve.
Politically we have one of the most stable politic and democratic system.
Our federal constitution forces us to stay neutral and forces our politicians to fight for it.
If you want to read, it's here in english

Neutrality; In 2 separate articles:
- Art. 173.a "Taking measures to safeguard external security and the independence and neutrality of Switzerland."
- Art 185.1 "The Federal Council takes measures to safeguard external security, independence and neutrality of Switzerland."
Country is under the Rule of Law:
"Art. 5 Rule of law
1 All activities of the state are based on and limited by law.
2 State activities must be conducted in the public interest and be proportionate to the ends sought.
3 State institutions and private persons shall act in good faith.
4 The Confederation and the Cantons shall respect international law."
Monetary stability:
https://www.snb.ch/en/snb-explained/swiss-franc
"Switzerland is known as a place of stability. One impressive example of this is that the 10-centime coins minted in 1879 have been in circulation for more than 140 years. The coin has made it into the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ as the world’s ‘oldest coin still in circulation’.
Switzerland has one of the most solid currencies in the world, namely the franc. No other currency has retained its value so well since the outbreak of the First World War. Nor has any other country kept average inflation lower than Switzerland."
Yet somehow, it is not the #reservecurrency not even close:

IMHO, it's a bit of a shame.
