Gizmodo: Elon Sounds Extremely Depressed After Tesla Profits Plunge 71%

"...Tesla reported lower than expected earnings on Tuesday, with first-quarter profits dropping 71% on much lower sales of electric vehicles. The news isn’t altogether surprising, given the fact that Tesla CEO Elon Musk is the public face of the company and continues to help President Donald Trump destroy the U.S. federal government while peddling far-right extremism on his social media platform X...."

The Tesla odometer hack was a really stupid way to try to rob car owners. This reveals a mentality that is tech savvy and otherwise not very smart.
The questions the Tesla Odometer Fraud raises is with modern computerized cars in general. How many manufacturers might be unethical enough to be perpetrating this type of fraud, more successfully avoiding detection of the hack.
Auto repairs are expensive- ask the insurance companies. We don't need to be robbed as well.

If the Swasticar makers are doing this, are they also manipulating readouts to prompt Tesla owners to bring in their cars for "servicing" when there is actually nothing wrong? Tesla has opened a big can of worms here.
This is DOGE and Donald Trump.

Odometer with 99999 miles
Ars Technica · Tesla odometer uses “predictive algorithms” to void warranty, lawsuit claimsBy Jonathan M. Gitlin

Tesla is facing a class action suit in California for hacking its car odometers to more quickly reach the limits of Tesla's vehicle warranty.
These are the geniuses Leon has also employed for DOGE. They are so smart that they decide to pull a fraud that is clearly measurable (and noticeable) and easily confirmed. Maybe this will put Tesla in the ground.

"While average used car prices rose more than 2% in the last 30 days, Tesla’s used car prices decreased by 1.34% in the US.

"That’s due to oversupply, as many #Tesla owners are selling their vehicles to distance themselves from the Tesla brand, which is associated with CEO #ElonMusk and his increasingly divisive political views."

Electrek · Tesla (TSLA) brand damage is destroying used car value: ‘People don’t want them anymore’By Fred Lambert

"What would you do if your favorite burger joint fired its kitchen staff, turned into a salad bar where you can only pay with crypto, and started playing that same song (you know the one) that everyone hates on repeat? You'd probably stop going, unless you're a huge Imagine Dragons fan who happens to also love both salad and crypto. That's kind of like what's going on at #Tesla right now." Ouch.

Tesla's Brand Loyalty Is Crashing Harder Than Its Stock: News
InsideEVs · Tesla's Brand Loyalty Is Crashing Harder Than Its StockBy Rob Stumpf

Something I didn't quite understand was the whole "throw slices of cheese onto Teslas" thing. I mean, sure, it will do some damage to the finish of a car, particularly one like the #Cybercuck, but cured meats like bologna, salami and the like have even more capacity to damage (and more quickly).

Especially as we go into the hotter, sunnier months with ever-earlier sunrises, plastering Teslas with sliced food products becomes a better strategy. It's especially useful if done in the wee hours of the morning before sunup. That food product could be sitting on a
#Tesla for a few, sunny hours before its owner comes out to drive it to work.

"According to a credible new report, #Elon Musk has reportedly shut down an internal analysis from #Tesla executives that showed the company’s Robotaxi plans would lose money and that it should focus on its more affordable ‘Model 2’."
