From the difference between thick and thin lines, we would say transitional or Didone, rather than old-stlye (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serif) ...

#Serif #terminal / #programming #fonts remain far and few between. Why? I find them more legible and there are a few out there that look really nice.

My favorites are "Go Mono" and "Luxi Mono", both by Holmes & Bigelow who did many of the popular (early) #Macintosh fonts. "PT Mono" is nice too (has less serifs). Give them a try for a few days and see yourself!

The latest @inkscape release was published yesterday, #Inktober 13th. V1.4 comes packed with great new features, for all desktop & laptop computers, for YOU, for FREE.

Over the last decade #Inkscape became the most powerful & popular vector illustration software for digital artists, tech nerds, and professionals in most areas. @wikipedia is more than just one of them. Challenging giant IT corporations like #Adobe, #Autodesk & #Corel was just a question of time and community support with talented and dedicated developers like @doctormo.

Live path effects are mind blowing, not just since V1.0. Most powerful IMHO is the ability to change perspectives soo easy, while many people can't even shift theirs in real life. I have a pretty fast Mac, M2 Pro with 16GB of RAM and it works very well. But starting any of the Serif apps, like Affinity Designer takes forever. I can lean back and look at the Icon jumping up and down for a loooong time.
And not only that, it also blocks any other app from starting. What is going on there, am I the only one with that problem?
