#SPAs and client-rich apps aren’t a fight about arbitrary developer preferences.

The argument is positioned by companies whose business is gate-keeping. Cloud landlords want to put as much as possible behind a paywall, they are complexity merchants who want to sell services and keep their customers entrenched.
