The developer can make the decision of what needs to be implemented in the background... From a tiny library to a full scale connection to a quantum computer.</p>
Magnificent Skippy<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://mamot.fr/@pintoch" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>pintoch</span></a></span> I'm kinda partial to <a href="https://mas.to/tags/osgi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>osgi</span></a> or <a href="https://mas.to/tags/microservices" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>microservices</span></a> . But, nothing beats the use of good <a href="https://mas.to/tags/designpatterns" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>designpatterns</span></a> in your code!</p>
Antonin Delpeuch<p>What are the best frameworks to make a <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/Java" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Java</span></a> application extensible? Is <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/OSGi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OSGi</span></a> the norm? Looking for recommendations in the context of <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/OpenRefine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenRefine</span></a>. Kudos if the framework can also be used to extend a web frontend at the same time (daydreaming!) <a href="https://forum.openrefine.org/t/improving-the-ux-of-extension-install-and-butterfly/52" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">forum.openrefine.org/t/improvi</span><span class="invisible">ng-the-ux-of-extension-install-and-butterfly/52</span></a></p>
Puppy Pi<p>Can anyone explain <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/OSGi" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>OSGi</span></a> to me? X&#39;D</p><p>(I&#39;ve tried for years to understand it but my brain doesn&#39;t work that way apparently!)</p><p>Like..is it for static code dependencies, like replacing a library? That makes sense that it auto-connects things based on which thing is The Implementation available for that service. But then why are things startable and stoppable? Why would I need to start and stop my bundle&#39;s implementation of regular expressions? XD</p>
