Today I succeeded in setting up my #BigBlueButton story hour system on my new #Ubuntu computer using two instances of #OBS and I am quite proud of myself. I was looking all over for a solution to my problem (wanting to use a green screen and virtual background, yet also needing to record the whole session with OBS, since BigBlueButton's session recording doesn't work), and I had almost given up until I came across just six ASCII characters that made it possible: "obs -m" I have no idea how or why it works, but it does. I wrote a thorough how-to for myself so I won't panic five minutes before the next story hour. (1/2)

Es gibt doch sicher so etwas wie einen #RTMP Proxy, der einen Stream von #OBS annimmt und dann auf mehrere Ziele, wie bspw. #Owncast und #Twitch verteilt?

Ich will vielleicht auch mal außerhalb vom Radio ein bisschen Musik streamen, dann wäre ein bisschen mehr Reichweite gar nicht so verkehrt... vielleicht?

Auf der Einkaufsfahrt zum Markt wurde T2 auf seinem T500 gleich 2* von einem #mercedes G (diese #Autodominanz, die man ganz leicht mit 2 Legosteine nachstellen kann) mit einem so großen Abstand überholt und der #OpenBikeSensor hat nichts angezeigt
Dieser #OBS geht bis ca. 2,8m!

Dafür kam mir mit 18cm ein #Kleinwagen in der #Einbahnstraße entgegen - es war insgesamt ein ausgewogener #Fahrradalltag

I set #obs studio to record #rondevanvlaanderen / #flanders, then went for a ride.

Ich habe heute ein kleines bisschen an einem neuen Overlay für #OBS gearbeitet.

Habe beschlossen, da nochmal halbwegs alles von Neuem einzurichten, damit ich das dann möglichst universell auf verschiedenen Systemen nutzen kann.

Außerdem habe ich im letzen halben Jahr so gar nicht gestreamt - weder Games, noch 3D Drucke - und dabei hat es mir auch wenn ich kaum Zuschauer*innen hatte irgendwie gefallen, hier und da mal eine oder zwei Stunden online zu sein.

I'm trying to figure out the simplest way to record #Reaper sessions and voice over with #OBS. I had a workflow on macOS, but I need a different solution for #linux.

You'd think it'd be easier with JACK and whatnot, but I was pulling my hair out last night.

If you've got any tips, I'd love to hear 'em!
