For years and years, I thought #cycling was too dangerous a method of transport that it put me off buying a #bike. However, I’m going to share a few details around the city which, in various measures, make #biking safer, easier, more pleasurable, and more fun. We still have a long way to go to get to the levels of #CyclingInfrastructure of the #Netherlands or #Denmark but the #CityCouncil is trying do the right thing.

The news follows multiple reports of damaged #undersea infrastructure in the #BalticSea, #arson and #sabotage attacks across #Europe, and other incidents seen as possible #Russian hybrid operations.

This beautiful display of noctilucent clouds called for a good foreground. I was frantically riding my bike, searching for something I could use, when I rode past this windmill. Using it as a silhouette was a no-brainer. I'm really happy with this result.

Russia is stepping up its hybrid attacks against the Netherlands and its European allies to influence and weaken their societies, the Dutch military intelligence agency MIVD said Tuesday.
