PSA: If you want to chop up your loops like it's 1995 you could either grab #ReCycle from the big plugin vendors for 100 earth credits, or you could head to reasonstudios.com/download-rec and download it for free (and your email address).

I actually had it in my wishlist for a while, hoping for an eventual discount, and all of a sudden this dropped!

Now if only I still had a SCSI port to connect my sampler to...

Finally took the time to set up some trusty Windows audio plugins in Linux today, courtesy wine + yabridge. Now I've got Sonible, Arturia, and FabFilter plugins in my Debian 12 system! What more could you ask for, seriously?

MMEA y'all (make mixing easy again)

(Okay, you could ask for UAD and Soundtoys, but then you'd just be greedy.)

I have been telling some friends/family about my #musicproduction on #linux Project. I’m suprised that I sometimes need to explain what an OS is, so I can explain what Linux is.

There’s a long way for many people to know, that Windows is not the only thing you can have on your PC. And Windows is not what “a computer” looks like on the screen.

I am currently testing some amazing #compressor, #amp simulation, and #eq #plugin (s) by a renowned vendor that previously did not support #linux.
It honestly feels unreal to me to have those outstanding plugins run perfectly smooth and natively within #bitwigstudio on #linuxaudio. 🫣
I expect an announcement within a couple of weeks, as the beta testing is still ongoing and minor bugs are fixed.
I am super excited about another vendor supporting this great platform for #musicproduction. 🤓😜

A propos #offlinealbum …I thought for a long time about why the reception (or lack thereof) of my music sometimes doesn't bother me at all and other times frustrates the hell out of me.

It seems that I have two fundamentally distinct modes of making #music

Mode 1 is the producer mode. I feel I have a story to tell, and I do my very best to do exactly that. I don't rest before it's as perfect as I can possibly make it. And once it's done, I want people to hear it.
