Tommaths (he/him)<p>I've been to <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/BletchleyPark" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>BletchleyPark</span></a> today with my friend & ex BP colleague Catherine for a 'friends' event with two <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/veterans" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>veterans</span></a>: Betty Webb & Pat Owtram. I've met Betty many times (I've even had dinner with her <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/humblebrag" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>humblebrag</span></a>) but it's always great to hear her speak, and Pat Owtram was just as inspirational. They're both 100 years old.</p><p>We saw a handful of old colleagues, experienced two <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/flypasts" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>flypasts</span></a> (the <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/RedArrows" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>RedArrows</span></a> and a <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/LancasterBomber" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LancasterBomber</span></a>), located a fire, and (at long last) visited the "new" Block A exhibition and the temporary (but repeatedly extended) exhibition "The Art of Data", which is in all but name a <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/maths" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>maths</span></a> exhibition. Might blog about that bit later.</p>
