I've met Betty many times (I've even had dinner with her <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/humblebrag" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#humblebrag</a>) but it's always great to hear her speak, and Pat Owtram was just as inspirational. They're both 100 years old.We saw a handful of old colleagues, experienced two <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/flypasts" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#flypasts</a> (the <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/RedArrows" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#RedArrows</a> and a <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/LancasterBomber" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#LancasterBomber</a>), located a fire, and (at long last) visited the "new" Block A exhibition and the temporary (but repeatedly extended) exhibition "The Art of Data", which is in all but name a <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/maths" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#maths</a> exhibition. Might blog about that bit later.
