It felt worlds away from Inauguration Day 2009, when a call from Rupert Murdoch’s consigliere sent me into the manufactured, manipulative world of media power.
Now, I’m in the actual, factual world—where #freedom is fought for daily.
#Russia attacked #Ukraine with 166 drones over the past day.
#Ukrainian air defense shot down 40 enemy #UAVs, while another 74 decoy drones were lost without causing damage.
The main directions of #Russia’s attacks were #Sumy and #Cherkasy regions. #Kharkiv and #Donetsk regions were also affected.

#Dnipropetrovsk region: In #Pavlohrad, a strike hit an industrial facility. No casualties were reported at this time.
#Zaporizhzhia: Two high-rise buildings and an administrative building were damaged.
Railway infrastructure: In #Kyiv, #Zhytomyr, and #Kharkiv region, railway infrastructure and administrative and technical buildings were damaged by the #Russian strikes, according to “#Ukrzaliznytsia” (#Ukrainian Railways). Two railway workers were also injured.
#Kyiv region: At least 3 districts were attacked – residential buildings, cars, shops, and a public transport stop were damaged. In #Bucha district, two women suffered acute stress reactions.
#Kharkiv: There were 24 strikes on the city - 10 missiles and 14 drones. High-rise residential buildings, private homes, a clinic, a school, industrial facilities, and a hotel complex were damaged. One person was hospitalized.

Earlier today #Zaporizhzhia was brutally struck with aerial bombs. Residential buildings were damaged. More than twenty people were wounded in this attack alone, including four children.
