This is how I keep my #Emacs and #OrgzlyRevived on Android consistent for #GTD (and other things)
Little things in #PKM have a way of multiplying.
I added a note about reinstalling the #FreePlane #GTD+ plugin https://docs.freeplane.org/getting-started/Add-ons_(install).html#freeplanegtd-1 to my #OrgRoam INBOX only to discover "GTD" wasn't in my personal dictionary in #Emacs. To synchronize between devices and apps a separate SwypeWords.md also had to be updated along with adding that link to my shared bookmarks file...

Тестил тут и сравнивал два приложения для учёта приёма лекарств из F-Droid:
- MediTrak
- DITMM? (Did I take my meds?)
Оба в целом неплохие, функциональностью очень похожи друг на друга.
Ключевые моменты, которые я для себя выделил:
- У MediTrak нативный и более информативный UI. Плюс меньше кликов на отметку принятого лекарства.
- У DITMM?
- DITMM? не обновлялся два года, а MediTrak - два дня
I saw JohnnyDecimal trending on Hacker News and it seems like an extension/compliment/super-set of how I organize my life but with a slightly different taxonomy and PKM integrated with GTD[1].
TLDR: I combine and remix Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs with David Allen's GTD.
I never thought I'd praise Outlook for anything, but this is a really nice feature: It not only sees that I have a lot of meetings on this day, but shows a positive mindset in offering to set aside some time for focused work.
Well done, @MS
The thing about fixing any government is that in true #GTD fashion, this is not a Next Action item. It cannot be 'done'.
It's also not a Project, being comprised of 2 or more actionable items.
It's an Area of Responsibility. It requires constant effort and realignment.
And just like any other -- working out and eating healthy for a good fitness, being a good parent, an amazing manager -- this Area of Responsibility needs to be protected from sabotage from within.
Aligning your actions counts
Effectively planning and managing a complicated life can be made easier and less stressful if you adopt approaches like Kanban and Getting Things Done.
I try to operate on the “Nothing Doesn’t Go in Here” principle. Flipping through the notebook that is on my desk right now, I see shopping lists, notes from conference calls, sermon notes, a little chart I made when working on some invoices for Relay, a doodle of the Widgetsmith icon I made for some reason, and a lot more. A receipt for a recent meal with a friend fell out of it onto my […]
Just spun up Radicale to self-host my calendar & task list this morning because my BuJo couldn't keep up with the chaos of GTD projects. Turns out, my brain needs automation, sync, and a search function more than fancy washi tape. #SelfHosting #GTD #Radicale
Over the year I always rotate between different todo apps - partly because it is actually quiet healthy and forces a deep review, #gtd-wise. Partly, because I don't care that much - I've used every one of them, have my workflows and can switch within an hour. I mostly rotate between #omnifocus, apple Reminders and #orgmode.

@kushal I use the #GettingThingsDone #GTD methodology. In fact, this year will mark the 20th anniversary of me being on GTD, and I'll never use any other system again.

T-Rex burst onto the scene, saying: “Shocking news, everyone: I just got a letter… …from myself. It’s a version of myself that’s trapped in the past!! And this letter contains a very precise list of things that I need to do, as soon as possible, to change our future!”
Dromiceiomimus said: “Holy smokes!!”
T-Rex continued: “I know! I’m freaking out!”
Utahraptor then slowed that roll with a “Hold on. Wait just a minute here.”
T-Rex said: “…Yes”
Utahraptor went on: “It’s just—all letters are sent by someone living in the past to someone living in their future, so that’s actually super normal. Was this letter mailed, T-Rex?”
T-Rex replied: “No, it was delivered by hand! Left for me in a place only my past and/or future self would know I’d find it!”
Utahraptor asked: “You made a to-do list and left it on your counter, didn’t you?”
T-Rex then said: “Utahraptor! Life is as interesting as you make it, bud!”
