@lawik Programming a lot of Elixir at the moment. I don't know how the Erlang and Elixir inventors did it, but the development speed and tightness of the feedback loop are insanely good.

Gotta go learn Rustler to make some Elixir NIFs.
While it looks pretty slick, Java Native Access has spoiled me when it comes to language bindings.

Do y'all use Elixir? What about Doppler?
New from me:

NervesConf in the US is very, very soon and if you happen to be in the US you should hit that and then have GigCity Elixir as a snack on top. I had so much fun last year. I can't make it this year but I know there will be top shelf, barrel-aged people to enjoy.

Underjord expects to have spare capacity for Elixir development by the end of June with some flexibility to start early.
My team and I are best applied to Elixir projects. They've spent the last few years immersed in Phoenix and fullstack development.

Hello! Moving to hachyderm from #fosstodon. I'm more of a lurker, happy to follow like-minded hackers and tinkerers. #erlang and #elixir are my primary tools of choice since *checks notes* 2010. I like #neovim, #archlinux, #darksouls and #jogging. Part of the @plausible core team. What's up!
Maybe it's due to the many hours doing procedural languages, but I very rarely reach for reduce in #elixir. Although map is my catch all. Spend time looking through the Enum module. So many gems.
