So, first lesson in #posting is that only 4 #images can be shared. I like that it is encouraged to #describe the media you post for improved #Accessibility and this is a huge plus imo. Also, reminds me of the early days of another app, which is now more focussed on reels

So, I visited many new places this time in #newhampshire due to it being #leafpeeping season, and here is the #oldmanofthemountain and #thebasin 🧡🌲🏞

This is a view of the Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire. I believe efforts to keep the rock in place went on for 25 years until it finally fell. The story is immersive and there are fantastic pictures online where people have caught the sculptures at ground level which, (when viewed qt a certain angle) show what the old man looked like in place
The day was bright and sunny and the light glinted off the lake to highlight the fall colours. There is a trail around the lake and this is on my bucket list for the next visit
Dog-friendly and well defined trails, I loved this part of the trip. The river flows clean and sounds beautiful
