I see people saying Western Civilization is failing, Western Civilization is dead. But it looks like Western Civilization is alive and kicking, doing as it always does. As it did during the crusades, as they did in the times of Columbus, the Dutch Golden Age and the British Empire and the rest of colonial Europe and the US. #Invading, taking over, #robbing, #enslaving, #dehumanizing and #genocide are very much values of Western Civilization. #Israel #Gaza #Lebanon

The claims are the latest instances of Trump using #dehumanizing language when talking about people who immigrate to the US. They also mirror stereotypes some Americans have used against foreigners in the US for nearly 1½ centuries.
