@LinuxAndYarn @GossiTheDog I've to applaud #WSJ for showing how much #Apple is shafting #consumers with overpriced #parts, because even if the #battery had only 10% tariff there's no reason for a #replacement part to cost more than $50.
- Not to mention their #AntiRepairDesign and #DRM that prevents the use of genuine parts without literally #RAT|ting one's own device and letting them fuck around with the device firmware...

IMHO #DRM should be outlawed as a matter of principle and #IP be subject to #FRAND licensing and cease to exist the moment it's not available for pirchase new by individuals and/or businesses!
