Hace un tiempo conocí eXoDOS, una biblioteca de más de 7000 juegos para DOS compilados y configurados para correr con DOSBox, con una interfaz gráfica para organizarlos.

Lo malo era que esa interfaz estaba sólo disponible para Windows, y era lentísima. Cuando intenté usarla con Wine, la lentitud se multiplicó varias veces al punto de ser inusable.

Pero finalmente sacaron un patch para Linux, que trae una interfaz un poco más limitada que la de Windows pero es super liviana, y permite hacer lo más importante, que es correr los juegos y consultar manuales y otros documentos asociados a los juegos.

Newly Registered Domains Distributing SpyNote Malware

Deceptive websites hosted on newly registered domains are being used to deliver AndroidOS SpyNote malware, mimicking the Google Chrome install page on the Google Play Store. The campaign utilizes a mix of English and Chinese-language delivery sites, with Chinese-language comments in the code. The malware is distributed through a two-stage installation process, using an APK dropper to deploy the core SpyNote RAT. SpyNote is a potent Android remote access trojan capable of extensive surveillance, data exfiltration, and remote control. It aggressively requests numerous intrusive permissions, allowing for theft of sensitive data and significant remote access capabilities. The malware's keylogging functionality and ability to manipulate calls, activate cameras and microphones, and remotely wipe data make it a formidable tool for espionage and cybercrime.

For those not in the know, St1ka is a #retro #gamer who makes fun and (mostly) innocent videos about #games for #NES, #Sega, #DOS, etc - particularly the ones from Asia, but also the ones were made over a decade later, because there's a market for newer retro games in places like #Brazil.

There's six videos in total - we travel out from the labyrinth through elemental realms solving puzzles and mysteries. Making alliances with unexpected parties, and facing off with the forces that sundered the world!
