Er zijn natuurlijk veel van die telefoonscammers die proberen ouderen op te lichten via de telefoon. Met deze AI-chatbot met stem erbij kun je eigenlijk eindeloos, 24/7 die scammers bezighouden. En zolang ze dat doen, zijn ze in ieder geval niet onze #opa's en #oma's aan het lastigvallen. Slim bedacht, klein inzicht, goed uitgevoerd." 🙌🏼

De AI-tool, genaamd #Daisy, klinkt als een lieve bejaarde dame met veel tijd én een flinke dosis geduld – precies het type waar oplichters op denken te kunnen scoren. Maar in plaats van #slachtoffer te worden, houdt Daisy hen zo lang mogelijk aan de lijn. De tool heeft al gesprekken van meer dan 40 minuten gevoerd, zonder dat de fraudeurs iets doorhadden. 🥸

Daisy werkt met maar liefst drie AI-taalmodellen:
1️⃣ Audio wordt realtime omgezet in tekst
2️⃣ Een taalmodel genereert een passend, persoonlijk antwoord
3️⃣ En, dat antwoord wordt weer omgezet naar spraak met een AI-stem

Een briljant voorbeeld van hoe AI ook voor maatschappelijk nut kan worden ingezet. Tech met een doel – en een #glimlach. 😊

For reasons, I still have #WhatsApp on a phone. They really shoved a #Meta_AI #chatbot contact into my list without asking. Not even that it is an additional contact, it is a laid-over button on top of the 'write msg' button. How obnoxious is that?!

Got a few questions from relatives who thought the new contact is a phishing attempt.
