We are encouraging people to treat rallies as a way to meet people and organizations, practice being in the streets together, and energize yourselves for the fight ahead. Yes rallies are not the be-all-end-all of resistance but they are a fantastic starting point and they can fill up our emotional tanks to continue doing this work
Also, it is very important to celebrate heroes and memorialize the fallen in antifascism, and Dr. King is both. We'll see you all there.
@ruthz.bsky.social here's their letter:

If you scroll down to the bottom they have some specific options for helping them out. We encourage people to see if they can find a way to support!
#TodayILearned that April 18, 2025 was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride through Boston.
This projection on Boston’s Old North Church couldn’t be more apt.

Boston/Cambridge/Somerville peeps:
If you need a futon, or anything futon-adjacent, I want to give a HUGE shout out to Bedworks in Central Square.
Yes, I'm sure you already know about them and I know they've been there forever and I know they're practically an institution (I think I bought my first futon couch from them in the 80s?)...
but it was just *such* a lovely experience to go in and buy something local and spend the time having a lovely extended conversation with the staff person there (wish I'd gotten his name!)

Pack Monadnock Mountain, Peterborough and Temple NH photographed from Buck Hill.
To the left of the frame is a water tower, 307 Country Club Rd, Newton MA. Below the water tower there are four houses on Vershire St, West Roxbury MA.
Not 100% sure, but I think the water tower right under the mountain summit is near 102 Townsend St in Pepperell MA.
To the right of the frame is a water tower, Overlook Drive, Weston MA and a cell tower, West Newton Commuter Parking, 187 Webster St, Newton MA

The Mass Pike should be narrowed! But MassDOT is insisting they need to design for 20% more cars than are there today, and that could cost the project hundreds of millions of dollars.

"Massachusetts has a thriving zine scene, and you’re invited to check out as many zine libraries in the Greater Boston area
as you can. During the month of April, complete your Zine Library Crawl passport for the opportunity to win prizes."
Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund is raising money to fund people's abortions! They are $14k into their goal of $115k.
Kick them a few $$ if you can. Ask friends and family to chip in if they have money to spare.
